Generally, in the first quarter of
this year, Industrial Production Index
(IPI) was increased by 6.3% from the same period last year, lower than the
growth in 2015’s similar period[3]. Of which the manufacturing climbed by 7.9%, contributed
5.6 percentage points to the overall growth rate; the electricity power
generation and distribution rose 13.1%, contributed 0.9 percentage points; the
water supply and sewage treatment went up by 9.4%, contributed 0.1 percentage
points; the mining and quarrying fell by 1.2%, reduced 0.3 percentage points of
the general growth rate.
Generally, in two beginning months
of the year, consumption index for the
whole manufacturing increased by 9.1% over the same period last year. Stock index for the entire
manufacturing as of 01 March 2016 went up by 8.7% from the same period in 2015.
Average stock rate for the whole manufacturing in two beginning months of the
year was 78.2%.
The number of
laborers working in industrial
enterprises as of 01 March 2016 rose 5.9% compared to the same period last
year, of which the State sector increased by 1.4%; the non-State sector by
4.1%, and the FDI sector by 8%. As of above time, the number of laborers working in the mining and quarrying
went up by 0.4% over the same period last year; in the manufacturing by 6.4%;
the electricity power generation and distribution by 0.3%; the water supply and
sewage treatment by 2.8%.
